Magento is one of the best content management platforms in existence. This version of Magento is free. It is used by most of Magento’s clients. Magento Open Source is powered by the community as most options and features are created by other users.

Magento Commerce

Magento Commerce is powered by Magento for a fee. With this option, a user gets access to specialist features and plugins, which are ideal for online commercial business. This version works best for small businesses.

Magento Enterprise

Magento Enterprise is the premium option that is offered by Magento. This option is quite expensive, and it is the best option for large businesses. It offers premium features and plugins to its users. Magento Enterprise can cost thousands of dollars.

Using Magento

A user can simply install the Magento application on their computer. However, the device must meet a minimum set of criteria for the software to function as required. Additionally, a user must complete five prerequisites before they can begin using this application. The prerequisites are found on the Magento website.

The following steps can be followed to begin using Magento.

Step 1

On the Magento website, a user can sign up for the trial run of the Magento. Once all the necessary processes have been completed, a confirmation email is sent to the registered email address.

Step 2

From the confirmation email, a user can open a URL, which connects them to the administrative page of the store. From there, a user can access the dashboard, which lets them kickstart the process of using Magento using a startup wizard. This little program will guide the user through the control center of the store.

Step 3

Next, the user can proceed to subscribe for the version of Magento they wish to use. The Magento Commerce subscription can cost a user a minimum of $3.95. However, this price can go even higher depending on the needs of the user or if they wish to open multiple e-stores.

Step 4

This step is the final step. A user gets to select the theme, extensions, and other plugins they want to use. A user gets to customize their store as they require. Furthermore, a user can quickly add products, including descriptions and prices in a few simple steps.
